UNA EXTENSIÓN DE LA DISTRIBUCIÓN DEL TOROROI MEDIALUNA GRALLARICULA LINEIFRONS (FOMICARIIDAE) EN COLOMBIA
RESUMEN
Presentamos dos nuevas localidades para el Tororoi Media, Grallaricula lineifrons, en bosques altoandinos del departamento del Quindío. Capturamos un individuo en una red de niebla a 3400 m en el municipio de Génova y otro a 3350 m en el municipio de Pijao, registramos sus medidas, los fotografiamos e hicimos anotaciones sobre su hábitat. Esta especie presenta muy pocos registros en el país y se considera actualmente como vulnerable (VU), aunque por lo poco conocida es difícil precisar su situación real. Las nuevas localidades extienden significativamente la distribución conocida de la especie hacia el norte, desde el departamento del Cauca hasta el departamento del Quindío.

A range extensión of the Crescent-faced Antìtta Grallaricula lineifrons (Formicariidae) in Colombia
ABSTRACT
We report two new localities for the Crescent-faced Antpitta Grallaricula lineiforns in high Andean forests of the municipalities of Génova and Pijao, department of Quindío, Colombia. We mist-netted two individuals at 3400 and 3550m respectively, measured and photographed them, and recorded habitat features. The specie is considered vulnerable (VU), although the scarcity of data makes it difficult to asses its actual status. The new localities represent a significant northward extension of its known range, from the department of Cauca to the department of Quindío.
