PRIMER REGISTRO DEL VENCEJO CUATRO OJOS (CYPSELOIDES CHERRIEI ) PARA LA CORDILLERA CENTRAL DE LOS ANDES (COLOMBIA)
RESUMEN
Registramos al Vencejo Cuatro Ojos (Cypseloides cherriei) por primera vez en la Cordillera Central de Colombia a una altura de 1250 m en el casco urbano de Ibagué, Tolima. Adicionalmente, presentamos las medidas corporales y datos del contenido estomacal del ejemplar. El ejemplar estaba capturando insectos atraídos por postes de luz después del anochecer, un comportamiento no registrado antes para esta especie

First record of the Spot-fronted Swift (Cypseloides cherriei ) in the Central Andes of Colombia
ABSTRACT
We report the first record of the Spot-fronted Swift (Cypseloides cherriei) for the Central Andes of Colombia at 1250 m in the outskirts of the city of Ibagué, Tolima. Additionally, we include measurements and data on stomach contents of the specimen. This individual was foraging for insects attracted to streetlights after dark, a behavior not previously recorded for the species.
